EAGLESON: Peacefully in his sleep, at South Huron Hospital, Exeter, after having his supper with Joan, on Friday, July 22, 2016, Jack Franklin Eagleson of Grand Bend, age 83. Beloved husband and best friend for 62 years of Joan Phyllis (Ritchie) Eagleson. Loved father and father-in-law of Mike Eagleson and his partner Patti Cowan of Grand Bend, Julia Webster and her husband Phil of London, Loved grandpa of Anthony “Tony” and Nicole Eagleson of Hausen am Albis, Switzerland, Carolyn and Adam Spence of Glencoe, Jimi and Ashley Webster of London and Melanie Burch and family of London. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Mary Lou and Doug Dixon of Centralia, Leona Eagleson of London, Bill and Barb Mercer of St Thomas, Clifford Ritchie of Parkhill, Clare and Eleanor Ritchie of Sarnia, Sandra Green of Grand Bend and Sonia and Wayne Greb of Centralia. Remembered by his nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by his brother Gerald “Jerry” Eagleson (2002), sister Kathryn (Broderick) Mercer (1994), sister-in-law Velma Ritchie and brother-in-law Dave Green and parents Gerald Bruce (1964) and Beatrice (Statton) (2003) Eagleson. Resting at T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, with visitation on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2016, at 11 am. The Rev. Dr. Kate Crawford officiating. Interment Pinery Cemetery, Grand Bend. Jack was plumber and contractor by trade, a man of many talents, he was the first developer of condominium’s in Grand Bend and had a passion for fishing, hunting and the outdoors.
