SWEITZER: Peacefully, at Queensway Nursing Home, Hensall, on Wednesday, August 24, 2016, Doris Mary (Comfort) Sweitzer of Grand Cove Estates, Grand Bend, formerly of Shipka, age 89. Beloved wife of the late Stuart Matthew Sweitzer (1976). Loved mother and mother-in-law of Jim and Marg Sweitzer, Scott and Joan Sweitzer, Bonnie and the late Mike (2010) Erickson. Cherished grandma of Jeff and Sarah Sweitzer, Amy and Howie Wareing, Dody and Rick Gilfillan, Derek and Cami Sweitzer, Jason and Kim Erickson, Emily Erickson. Treasured great-grandma of Jakob, Carter, Haylee, Alyssa, Kaycee, Brady, Ryan, Cassie, Zach, Nick, Lucas, Skyla, Leah, Talia and Tyra. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Sylvia Hansler, Eva Grigg, Marilyn Pickering, Helen and Mike Prisciak, Elsie and Garson Brady, Roy and Marilyn Comfort. Remembered by her many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by her parents Alton and Elsie (McPherson) Comfort, sister Alice Leadley, brothers-in-law Cecil Anger, Orville Hansler, Milt Sweitzer, Ivan Grigg, Jack Pickering, Ted Leadley, Vern Sharp and Murray Evans, sisters-in-law Ila Sharp and Nola Evans. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, with Visitation on Thursday, August 25, 2016 from 4 to 8 p.m., where the Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 26, 2016 at 3 p.m. The Rev. Dr. Kate Crawford officiating. Interment Crediton Cemetery.
