BLACK: On Wednesday, October 26, 2016, Lawrence “Larry” Victor Black, of Grand Bend formerly of Exeter, age 75. Beloved husband of Joyce Elaine (Matthews) Black for 51 years. Loved and adored father of Shari and John Syrovy, Shelly and Karl Weselan and infant daughter Cynthia Ann Black (1970). Cherished poppa of Scott, Katrina, Craig and Matthew. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Doreen (the late Ralph) Matthews, Bryon (Jean) Black, Paul (Connie) Black, the late Bernice and Henry Drennan, Gordon Matthews, the late Lois and Raymond Haggitt, step-brothers Lorne (Hazel) Hackett and the late Chester (Belle) Hackett. Predeceased by his parents Victor and Grace Black, parents-in-law Henry and Ruby Matthews. A Funeral Service will be held at the Exeter United Church, on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. The Rev. Paul Ross Officiating. Private Interment Dungannon Cemetery. Larry was a long time teacher with the Huron County Board of Education and known in the Grand Bend area as the bicycle repair man. Sincere thanks to his family, friends and Dr. K. Leslie, Dr. S.
