PEEBLES: Peacefully, into the arms of her Lord and Saviour, at Welland County Hospital, Welland on Wednesday, December 28, 2016, Doris Alvina (Stockdale) Peebles, formerly of the Exeter area, age 92. Beloved wife of the late Rev. Wm. Robert “Bob” Peebles (2010). Loved mother of Kenneth (Amandah) Peebles of Airdrie, Alberta, Paul (Dawn) Peebles of Welland and Carol Peebles of Calgary, Alberta. Loving grandmother of Kenneth Jr. (Dayna) Peebles, Marnie (Aaron MacNabb), Taylor, Kurtis, Ian and Mitchell. Cherished great-grandmother of Lulu and Grayburn MacNabb and Lucy Peebles. Sister to Marilyn (Ernie Raffin) of Peterborough and sister-in-law of Joanne Stockdale of Peterborough. Predeceased by her parents R. Norman and Harriet (Harrison) Stockdale, brothers Earle (Ferne) Stockdale, Gordon Stockdale, Clinton (Dawn) Stockdale, sisters-in-law Catherine and Margaret Peebles, brother-in-law James Peebles. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, with visitation Wednesday, January 4, 2017, commencing at 11 a.m. followed by the Funeral Service at 12 p.m. Interment Exeter Cemetery.
