DESJARDINE: Peacefully, with his wife and daughters by his side, at South Huron Hospital, Exeter, Thursday, September 17, 2009, Wilmer Brock “Ummy” Desjardine, of Queensway Nursing Home, Hensall, lifelong resident of Dashwood, in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Ethel (Cole) Desjardine for 58 years. Loved father and father-in-law of Judy and Dave Lovell of Kippen, Mary Ann and Scott Boyle of North Bay. Loving grandpa of Jim Crown, Julie Marek (Harold), Shannon Nowell (Cory), Ryan Boyle, Patrick Boyle and great-grandpa of Dalton Fink-Crown, Brandon Crown, Denise DeVries and Nicole DeVries. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Ron Desjardine of RR 2, Grand Bend, Marilyn and Glen Rader of Dashwood, Anna and Grant Stirling of Bayfield, Margaret and Sam Argyle of Goderich, Doris and Bert Schilbe of Bayfield and Jack Cole of Goderich. Remembered by his nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by sister Aileen and her husband Harold Brown, sisters-in-law Georgina Desjardine and Ethel Cole, parents Clarence and Beulah (Weigand). Desjardine. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, with visitation Sunday 6 to 9 p.m.; where the Funeral Service will be held Monday, September 21, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. Mr. Bob Heywood officiating.
