Beloved husband of Phyllis Irene (Schade) Lightfoot. Loved father and father-in-law of Steve Lightfoot of RR 1, Crediton and his friend Mary Ann Korcina, the late Mike (2004) and Kristyn Darling of Mount Carmel. Cherished grandpa of Dylan and Meghan Lightfoot, Cadyn Lightfoot and Shania Rudolph, Paige Lightfoot and Jake Foxton, Todd Lightfoot and Taylar Lightfoot. Dear brother-in-law of Margaret and Earl Horner of Exeter, Elaine Dunn and Bill Rivett of Bayfield, Mona and Erle Hamilton of Ailsa Craig. Predeceased by his parents William Howard and Doreen Elizabeth (Baker) Lightfoot. Doug was a long-time Fireman with the Crediton and Huron Park Fire Halls, serving for 40 years.
