Obituary of William Norman Wilde

WILDE: At Huronview Home for the Aged, Clinton, after a long struggle with dementia, on Wednesday, March 24, 2010, William Norman Wilde, formerly of Grand Cove Estates, Grand Bend, age 89. Beloved husband of Vera Irene (Atkinson) Wilde. Loved father and father-in-law of Barbara and Bill Waller of Oshawa and Ken Wilde of Calgary. Loving grandfather of Shannon Waller, Bradley and Amy Waller, Jarrett Wilde and Megan Wilde and great-grandfather of Aiden Waller. Predeceased by his sister Dorothy MacDonald. Cremation. A Service of Remembrance will be held at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, Monday, March 29, 2010 at 11:30 a.m. The Rev. Harry Disher officiating. Interment later at Thornton Cemetery, Oshawa. If desired, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated. Norm served with the R.C.A.F. during WWII.
