Obituary of Joyce Burke

BURKE:  Peacefully, at AgeCare, Parkhill, on Monday, February 17, 2025, M. Joyce (Sutton) Burke, of Grand Cove Estates, Grand Bend and formerly of London, age 89.  Beloved wife of over 74 years to William “Bill” Wesley  Burke of Grand Bend.  Loved mother of Ricky Burke and the late Danny Burke (1987). Dear sister and sister in-law of Sylvia Brown, Alice Braithwaite and Dorothy & Dave Dixon. Predeceased by her parents Charles Raymond  & Winnifred (Groom) Sutton. Joyce will be remembered by her many nieces, nephews and their families. At Joyce’s request cremation will take place.  A family graveside service and interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery London at a later date.  Joyce was a long time employee at Simpsons and The Bay in London. She  was active in the Huron Country Playhouse Guild, The Probus and Red Hat Society.  The family wish to thank the staff and care givers at AgeCare in Parkhill for their kindness and support for over the past year.
