Obituary of Evon Jeanette Anzai

ANZAI: Unexpectedly, at South Huron Hospital, Exeter, on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, Evon Jeanette (Stumpf) Anzai of Grand Bend, age 88. Beloved Wife of the late Kenji Anzai (1965). Loved mother of Kathleen & Wayne Burgetz, Kandi & Bob Clemmer all of Grand Bend, Keith & Wendy Anzai of Waterloo, Kirk & Wendy Anzai of Ripley. Cherished sister of Butch Stumpf of Edmonton AB. Evon will also be missed by her grandchildren & great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Cecil & Marjorie "Kitty"  (Helm) Stumpf.  At Evon's request cremation has taken place and her wish was to have no services. Arrangements entrusted to T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood. Memorial donations to a charity of your choice.

Our mother passed away May 13/2025 after a very short illness at South Huron Hospital, Exeter. She was in her 89th year and still lived in her home in a Grand Bend with her cat Girly.

Life was difficult for mom growing up in KW and she worked hard all her life at minimal paying jobs. She never had a lot of money but she did the best she could. In retirement she enjoyed her beer and HER Blue Jays. She loved her 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandkids. Since 1965 after Dad passed it was always Toots and the 4 K’s, now it’s just the 4 K’s. We will miss her.
