Peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family at Jessica’s House Hospice, Exeter, on Thursday, July 03, 2025. Robert Bruce “Bob” Bexton of Grand Bend, age 87. Beloved husband of Diane (DeVecchi) Bexton for over 64 years. Loved father of Karen “Kaleigh” (Bexton) Clemens, Bob often referred to Kaleigh as his favorite daughter, even though she was his only child. Cherished grandpa of the twins, Kaleb and Luke Clemens. Dear brother of Beverley Routley and treasured uncle of his five beautiful nieces and his two nephews. He will also be remembered by Kaleb and Luke’s father, Steve Clemens. Predeceased by his parents Reginald and Madeline (Piercey) Bexton. Bob was a long time employee of the former Champion Road Machinery in Goderich and part of a former family business known as Bexton Machine shop in London with his father. Bob was a dedicated Boy Scout and Boy Scout leader while he was growing up. Bob enjoyed his quiet time on his deck watching and feeding his birds. Diane said “I loved him the day I married him and I still loved him on the day he died”. At Bob’s request cremation will take place.
