WYBROW: It is with love and sadness we share the passing of Catherine Jeanette Wybrow (Thornton) of Grand Bend and formerly of London, age 78, on Sunday, August 31st, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Kay was a woman of quiet strength, warmth and kindness. She will be deeply missed by her best friend and husband Paul Wybrow Sr, her children, Paul Wybrow (Keli Watters Wybrow) and Heather Wybrow (Mike Seguin). Her cherished Grandchildren, Joshua Wybrow (Amelia Greene), Chelsea Watters Wybrow (Ryan Hopkins), Sara Holt (Greg Lunquist) and Ben Holt. Great Grandchildren, Prairie Wybrow, Isaac Hopkins, Jonah Hopkins and Leah Lunquist. Kay was a loving sister to Vicky Baker (Ron Noah), Brian Thornton (D) (Karen Thornton) and Tanya Prouty (Jason Prouty). She will be remembered by her beloved nieces and nephews. Catherine is reunited in peace with her parents Kenneth Thornton and Agnes (Hamilton) Thornton. Kay found joy in life’s simple pleasures, reading, watching cozy Hallmark movies (especially the Christmas ones) and following her favourite golfers and hockey teams. In lieu of flowers the family asks donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or charity of your choice in Kay’s memory. Above all else Kay cherished her family. She will be missed and remembered by all who knew her. At Kay’s request cremation will take place.
