EAGLESON: Peacefully, surrounded by love, at London Health Sciences Centre – University Hospital, on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, Michael William “Mike” Eagleson of Grand Bend, 6 days shy of his 70th birthday. Loved father and father-in-law of Carolyn Spence of London and Anthony “Tony” Eagleson and partner Jasmin Oberli of Switzerland. Cherished Motorcycle Grandpa of Catherine Spence. Dear brother of Julia and Phil Webster of London. Fondly remembered by his aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and their families, also remembered by his long time friend Patti Cowan-Leslie. Predeceased by his parents Jack Franklin (2016) and Joan Phyllis (Ritchie) Eagleson (2022). At Mike’s request, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Mike’s Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Br. 498, Grand Bend on Saturday, June 20, 2026 from 1 to 4 p.m. Mike was a long time sheet metal worker and union organizer for the Sheet Metal Workers International Association - Local 473. He loved working on motorcycles and restoring them and when he wasn’t in the garage he could be found on the golf course or out hunting with his friends.
