Obituary of CHRISTOPHER REMI VAN PRAET

VAN PRAET: Peacefully, at his residence, on Wednesday, November 2, 2016, Christopher “Chris” Remi Van Praet, of Sarnia, age 64. Beloved husband of Joyce V. (Marriott) Van Praet. Loved father of Christopher Van Praet, Lana and Kevin Hodder. Cherished grandfather of Tyler Van Praet, Jonathon Van Praet, Skye Van Praet, Delon Van Praet, Zain Van Praet, Jasmen Hodder and Alexander Hodder. Loved son of Feby (Myers) and the late Remi Van Praet of Grand Bend. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Sandra and Irvin Ford, Lynn Ferwerda, Darlene Elliott and Jeff, Brady Van Praet and Sandra. Chris will be greatly missed by his many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his infant brother Larry Van Praet, brothers-in-law Peter Ferwerda and Thomas Elliott. At Chris’ request, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood on Monday, November 7, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Interment Pinery Cemetery, Grand Bend. If desired, memorial donations (payable by cheque) to the Canadian Cancer Society, London Regional Cancer Clinic or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
