Obituary of Janis Grace Ingram

INGRAM:  Peacefully, at London Health Sciences Centre – Victoria Hospital on Friday, September 6, 2019, Janis Grace (Hood) Ingram of London, formerly of Hensall, age 73.  Loved wife of the late William “Bill” George Ingram (1994).  Cherished mother and mother-in-law of James Ingram and Caroline Clarke of Newmarket, Andrew Ingram and Sherri Flacco of London, Wayne and Denise Ingram of Vernon, B.C., Phillip and Katibeh Ingram of London.  Treasured grandma of Ryan Ingram, Jeannie Ingram, Ainsley Ingram, Danica Ingram and Kenna Ingram.  Remembered by her companion Ronald A. Hutton of London.  Sister of Diane (Hood) McCann and her husband Barney of London, the late John Hood (2019) and his wife Alma (Hodgins) of Whitby, the late Willis Walper (2017) and his wife Joanne (Hood) of Varna, Connie Brown of South Carolina, and sister-in-law of Jean (Ingram) Crerar and her late husband Al (2013) of Exeter.  Janis is survived by her many nieces, nephews and their families.  Predeceased by her father John Leroy “Jack” Hood, her beloved step-mother Kathleen (Reid) Hood (1979), mother Maila Tuulikki (Kosonen) (Hood) Brown (2011), step-father C. Edmund Brown (1996), step-sister Barbara A. Ross (2000) and her husband Bruce A. “Pete” Ross (1981), brothers-in-law David Ingram, Ray Ingram, father-in-law and mother-in-law Jack and Margaret (Hogarth) Ingram.  At Janis’ request cremation has taken place.  A Memorial Service will be held at the St. John’s By-the-Lake Anglican Church, Grand Bend on Monday, October 28, 2019 at 11:00 a.m.  The Rev. Jim Innes Officiating.  Arrangements entrusted to the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood.  In lieu of flowers, if desired, memorial donations (payable by cheque) to a Wildlife/Animal Shelter near you or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
