Obituary of Ethel Marie Masse

MASSE:  Peacefully, at Blue Water Rest Home, Zurich, on Tuesday, September 24, 2019, Ethel Marie (Dinney) Masse, formerly of Dashwood, age 80.  Loved mother and mother-in-law of Carol Prang of Zurich, Sharon and Terry Romphf, Pat and Connie Masse, Ken Masse, Barb and Bob Reschke all of Dashwood, Robert Masse and Shellie McLeod of Exeter.  Cherished Grandma of 20 grandchildren and Old-Grandma of 30.  Dear sister-in-law of Lucile Masse of Zurich.  Ethel was the last surviving member of the Dinney Family.  Remembered by her many nieces, nephews and their families.  Predeceased by her parents Christopher and Isabella (Wareing) Dinney, father of her children John Leo Paul “Bill” Masse, infant great-grandson Jackson Masse, sons-in-law Larry McCarthy and Ed Prang, and siblings Charlie Dinney, Stanley Dinney, Donald Dinney, Lucinda Taylor, Katharine Winter and Robert Dinney.  Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood with visitation on Monday, September 30, 2019 from 4 to 7 p.m.  The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church, Mount Carmel, on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at 10:00 a.m.  The Rev. Fr. Ben Huyge Celebrant.  Interment Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery.  If desired, memorial donations (payable by cheque) to the Alzheimer Society, Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
