Obituary of D.M."Peg" McGratten

McGRATTEN:  Peacefully, at H.P. Healthcare, Clinton, on Monday, October 7, 2019, Dorothy Margaret “Peg” (Cawthorne) McGratten of Clinton, formerly of Goderich and Grand Bend. Age 96.  Beloved wife of the late Stanley John “Stan” McGratten (2002).  Loved mother of A.D. “Ric”and Joyce McGratten of Stratford. Loving gramma of Sean and former partner Sylvia of Toronto and the late Ryan and Sara McGratten (1980) and great-gramma Peg “GGP” of Evan and Emma.  Dear sister of Joan Dickerson and sister-in-law of Nancy Cawthorne and Ann Cawthorne all of England. Fondly remembered by Mike Salverda and Isabel Sturdy. Remembered by her many nieces and nephews and their families.  Predeceased by her parents Thomas A. and Dorothy M. (Newbury) Cawthorne, brothers Dick and Bil Cawthorne and brother-in-law Bruce Dickerson. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, on Friday, October 11, 2019  with visitation commencing at 12:30 p.m. followed by Funeral Service at 1:30 p.m. with reception to follow.  Private family interment at Colborne Cemetery, Goderich.  Memorial donations if desired (payable by cheque) to Habitat for Humanity (Huron County) and Doctors Without Borders.
