MARTENS: Peacefully, on Wednesday, January 22, 2020, Tony Martens of Exeter, age 88. Beloved husband of the late Martha (Welten) Martens (2003). Loved father and father-in-law of the late Henny Martens (1978), Marty Martens and Catherine Souch of Goderich, Marian and Dennis Pfaff of Exeter, Franky and Nicole Martens of Vernon, BC. Loving Opa of his grandchildren Adam and Anna Martens, Jessica and Ryan Hogan, Jarod Martens, Lacretia and Sean Howard, Henny Pfaff, Curtis Pfaff, Janita and Adam Johns, Samantha Martens, Seth Martens and great-grandchildren Lincoln, Ella, Oliver, Madeline, Brett, Cole, Cassie, Reese, Lynden, Eby, Ryker, Teague, Presley, Henny and Josey. Dear brother and brother-in-law of (Johan and Miet Martens), (Marinus and Truus Martens), (R.C. Sister Evarista Martens “Johanna”), (Wim Martens), (Jan Martens), (Martin and Leny and Lil Martens), Sien and Tom Smits of Grand Bend, Marius and Ria Martens of Grand Bend, (Marietje and Jan Guns), (Arnold) and Anne Martens of Exeter, (Hanneke and Wim van der Heijden), (Drieka and Hein Kuijpers), (Sien and Tjeu Geers), (Piet and Miet Welten), (Frans) and Pleun Welten of the Netherlands, (Dien and Karel v/d Ven), Mien and (Jochem) Kuunders of the Netherlands. Tony will be remembered by his many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by his parents Henricus and Martina (Raaymakers) Martens. Resting at T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood with visitation on Sunday, January 26, 2020 from 1 to 4 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church, Mount Carmel, on Monday, January 27, 2020 at 10 a.m. The Rev. Fr. Ben Huyge Officiating. Interment at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church Cemetery, Mount Carmel.
