Once Henry met Brenda they were inseparable. That meant we spent a lot of times at Eve’s house when Andrew and I were left in Henry’s care while dad and the rest of the family went on a little holiday( we couldn’t all fit in one car). Eve always made you feel welcomed, loved and beautiful in her presence. I remember her rocking me when I had swallowed a rocket candy and hurt my throat. I was probably missing dad and she knew I just needed a little TLC. I always felt safe in Eve’s arm as a
Child and blessed to be in her presence as an adult.
My deepest condolences to her entire world of family and friends that will miss her deeply.

Eve was a beautiful lady, inside and out. She was always so sweet, but also had a bit of rebel in her. Her smile won us all over so that when she was bargaining for something that wasn't in her best interest, we would just give in and give it to her anyway (eg. desserts and BIG glasses of beer :) Her gentle soul will be missed. Our sincere condolences to all the family.

Thinking of my cousins & their families at this time of great loss. Your kind, loving mother was such a special person. Her gentleness, warmth, and deep love of family are wonderful memories. Aunt Eve possessed an inspiring serenity - a rare calm peacefulness. My thoughts are with Eve's five sisters too - it's been a long journey from the 2nd Concession of Anderdon.
