GLAVIN: Peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family, at South Huron Hospital, Exeter, Wednesday, August 24, 2011, Patrick “Pat” Charles Glavin of RR 2, Crediton, age 85. Beloved husband of Hazel Elizabeth (Roherty) Glavin for 60 years. Loved father and father-in-law of Paul and Diane Glavin of RR 2, Crediton, Basil Glavin of RR 1, Crediton, Jane and Tony Lansbergen of Zurich, Helen Glavin of Forest and Tim Glavin of Huron Park. Loved and remembered by 17 grandchildren, their families and 9 great-grandchildren. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Helen McDonald of Parkhill, Mary Dietrich of Mount Carmel, Martina Glavin of Parkhill, Marcella Glavin of Strathoy, Dorothy Roherty of Hamilton. Remembered by his many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by parents Charles and Mary Ellen (Sullivan) Glavin, two grandchildren, other family members, Joseph Glavin, Father Basil Glavin, CSB, John A. and Theresa Glavin, Ray Glavin, Madeleine Glavin, Hanlon McDonald, Charles Dietrich, Robert and Ethel Roherty, Gladys and Leo Boyle, Leslie Roherty, Irene and Roy Pottle and Peggy Moore. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, with visitation Friday 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Parish and family prayers at the funeral home, Friday evening at 6:45 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church, Mount Carmel Saturday, August 27, 2011 at 11 a.m. The Rev. Father Len Desjardins Celebrant. Interment Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery.
