Obituary of Janet Loreen Gill

GILL: Peacefully, at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital, Monday, August 29, 2011, Janet Loreen (Borland) Gill of Chateau Gardens, Parkhill and formerly of Grand Bend, age 93. Beloved wife of the late Willis Foster Gill (1980). Loved mother and mother-in-law of Susan Gill of Waterloo, Emerson and Betty Anne Gill, Carol and Frank Allister all of Grand Bend and the late Allan Gill (1972). Loving grandmother of Janet and Hank Arnold of Lucan, Kathy and Ed Thoonen of Ilderton, Linda and Greg Meadows of Warren, MI., Nicole and Rick Freeman of Dresden, Mark and Kim Killens of Grand Bend and great-grandmother of Jessica and Hannah Arnold, Melissa, Madison and Allison Meadows, Capreese and Sitara Freeman, Dion and Everett Killens. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Mary and Bill Rowcliffe of Hensall, Lillian Watters of Islington, John Hodgins of Exeter, Jack and Betty Borland of RR 1, Woodham and Eloise Charlton of London. Remembered by her many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by brother Bert Borland, sisters Lyla Rudolph, Alma Borland, June Hodgins, Wilma Munn, sister-in-law June Borland, brothers-in-law Sandy Munn, Robert Watters, Larry Rudolph, Keith Charlton and parents Charles and Edna (Duncan) Borland. Loreen was a longtime teacher in several area schools, a member of the Grand Bend U.C.W., Women’s Institute and Seniors. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, with visitation Wednesday 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.; where the Funeral Service will be held Thursday, September 1, 2011 at 2 p.m. The Rev.
