If desired, memorial donations (made payable by cheque) to the St. Joseph’s Hospice Sarnia Lambton, Canadian Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Canadian Cancer Society, Alzheimer Society or a charity of your choice would be appreciated. Dick operated Manore Marina in Grand Bend for many years and was a strong promoter of Grand Bend Community and business operations. Suitable words do not exist that will sufficiently express our gratitude to Dr. Glen Maddison, head of the palliative care team in Sarnia, who drove to Grand Bend with Dr. Crosbie. Their compassionate and realistic assessment, immediate assistance and ongoing care provided by the staff at St. Joseph’s Hospice Centre were truly amazing. T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, entrusted with arrangements.
