Obituary of Thomas Nicholas Prendergast

PRENDERGAST: Peacefully, at South Huron Hospital, Exeter, Wednesday May 16, 2012, Thomas “Tom” Nicholas Prendergast of Grand Bend, age 82. Beloved husband of Jacqueline Irene (Veillette) Prendergast. Loved father and father-in-law of Stephen and Ann Prendergast of London, Paul and Jennifer Prendergast of Grand Bend and the late Michael Prendergast (1964-1981). Loving grandfather of Leah, Faith and Chloe. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Dan and Sharon Prendergast, Audrey, Katherine, Mary Lou, Moise Houle and Pauline Champigny. Remembered by his nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by siblings Mary (Boyd), Rita (Mockler), Kay (Dewan), Rose, Frank, Joe, Mildred (Mackle) Pat, Helen (Doran) also Jacquie’s siblings, Paul Emile, Anita, Fernand, Robert, Camile, Marc, Liliane (Houle) A Funeral Mass will be celebrated for family and friends at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church, Mount Carmel, Saturday, May 19, 2012 at 12 noon. The Rev. Father Len Desjardins celebrant. Cremation to follow with private family interment at Mount Carmel Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations (payable by cheque) for Masses, South Huron Hospital (Palliative Care) or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
