LIPPERT: Peacefully, at Clinton Public Hospital, Friday, September 7, 2012, Earl William Lippert of Bayfield, formerly of Crediton, age 77. Beloved husband and best friend of Betty (Glousher) Lippert. Loved father of Larry Lippert and friend Nan of Sarnia, Lynda Heywood and Lisa Lippert both of Exeter. Devoted step-father of Sandra Woodburn and companion Ken, Ron Woodburn and companion Sharon, Joe Woodburn and companion Trudy, Bob and Karen Woodburn and Catherine Parsons. Loved by his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Carl and Heather Lippert and remembered by his many extended family siblings and their families. Will be missed by his mother-in-law Ellen Smithers of Zurich and her family. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, with visitation Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. where the Funeral Service will be held Monday, September 10, 2012 at 11 a.m. Mr. Bob Heywood officiating. Interment Bayfield Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations (payable by cheque) to the Huron County Branch of the O.S.P.C.A. or a charity of your choice would be appreciated. Earl will be remembered by his long career in trucking, was the founder of Earl Lippert Trucking and the slogan “The Midnight Rambler.”
