Obituary of Johannus Joseph Kelders

KELDERS: Celebrate his life; cherish the memories. Surrounded by his family at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Wednesday, June 5, 2013, John (Johannus Joseph) Kelders, of RR 2, Grand Bend, age 59. Beloved husband of Jen Muma. Loving father of Jeff and Cassie Kelders, Matt Kelders and Jeff Muma. Beloved Opa of Seth and Leah Kelders. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Mia and Fred Hubert, Martin and Tina Kelders, Theo and Jackie Kelders, Nelly Kelders, Jane Kelders and Ken Keast, Rosemary Rose and Ted Bruyns, Andre and Sandy Kelders, Maryann Kelders and Dennis Masse, Sam (Francis) Kelders and Laurie Chamberlain, and Jon Muma. Remembered also by his father-in-law Mel Muma, his many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by his parents Theo and Adriana (Grootjen) Kelders, mother-in-law Carole Muma and nephew Derek Kelders. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, with visitation Sunday, 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church, Grand Bend, Monday, June 10, 2013 at 11 a.m. The Rev. Father Thomas Donohue Celebrant. Family and friends, including motorcycles and classic cars, are invited to join in John’s Last Ride, prior to Mass on Monday, departing Hoffman’s Funeral Home at 9:45 a.m. Cremation to follow. Interment in Pinery Cemetery, Grand Bend at a later date. If desired, memorial donations (payable by cheque) to the Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital, Cancer Society or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
