Obituary of Mary Kathleen Rowcliffe

ROWCLIFFE: Peacefully, with her husband by her side, at Queensway Nursing Home, Hensall on Thursday, November 28, 2013, Mary Kathleen (Borland) Rowcliffe of McTaggart Line, RR 1 Hensall, age 93. Beloved wife for 69 years of William “Bill” Lorne Rowcliffe. Loved mother of Garry Rowcliffe of Exeter. Loved grandmother of Chris and Jayne Rowcliffe of RR 1 Hensall. Cherished great-grandmother of Sidney Rowcliffe and Mitchell Rowcliffe. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Jack and Betty Borland of Exeter, Lillian Watters of Toronto and John Hodgins of Lucan. Mary will be remembered by her many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by her daughter-in-law Patricia “Pat” (Rankin) Rowcliffe, parents Charles and Edna (Duncan) Borland, siblings Bert Borland, Laureen Gill, Alma Borland, Wilma Munn, Lyla Rudolph and June Hodgins. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood on Sunday, December 1, 2013 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. The Funeral Service will take place at Thames Road – Elimville United Church, 71209 Elimville Line, Exeter, on Monday, December 2, 2013 at 2 p.m. Mr. Bob Heywood Officiating. Interment in McTaggart Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to Alzheimer Society or Thames Road – Elimville United Church would be appreciated by the family.
