Obituary of Cyrilla Theresa Vanbruaene

VANBRUAENE: Peacefully, at Blue Water Rest Home, Zurich, on Sunday, September 28, 2014, Cyrilla Theresa (Couwelier) Vanbruaene, of Grand Bend, in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late Prosper Daniel Vanbruaene (November 2011). Loved mother of Jerry and Rose Vanbruaene, Wendy and Mark Heywood all of Grand Bend. Proud grandma of Danielle and Doug Jones, Michael and Christie Vanbruaene, Ryan Heywood, Ashley and Tony Regier and Bennett Heywood and great-grandma of Jessica, Kyle, Bradley, Tyler, Kaitlyn and Makayla Jones, Robert, Noah and Emma Vanbruaene and Dylan and Myles Regier. She will be missed. Survived by brother Daniel of Belgium and many nieces, nephews and the Vanbruaene families in Belgium. Predeceased by her parents Lucien and Martha Couwelier, brother George Couwelier and sister Cecile Demuynck. A private family service took place at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, Monday, October 6, 2014. The Rev. Fr. Tony Laforet Officiated. Interment Pinery Cemetery, Grand Bend. Cyrilla’s greatest love was working alongside of Prosper and later years with her family, as owner and operator of Prosper’s Garage in Grand Bend for many years.
