Obituary of Mary Helen Dietrich
DIETRICH: Peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family, at South Huron Hospital, Exeter on Saturday, November 8, 2014, Mary Helen (Breen) Dietrich of Queensway Nursing Home, Hensall, formerly of RR 2, Dashwood, (Shipka). Beloved wife of the late Lawrence “Lorne” Michael Dietrich (Oct. 28, 1982). Loved mother of Theresa and Bob Norman of Varna, John and Sandra Dietrich of Grand Bend, Earl Dietrich of Mitchell, Helen and Rene Boogemans of Hensall, Jim and Linda Dietrich of RR 2, Dashwood (Shipka), Marlene and Bill Holman of Brucefield, Linda Wasnidge of RR 3, Ailsa Craig and Carol and Dave Cyr of Centralia. Loving grandma of 23 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Eileen Snyder of London, and sister-in-law of Ada Dietrich of Exeter and June Breen of Parkhill. Remembered by her many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by her parents Tommy and Kathleen (McLeod) Breen, infant son, grandson Brian Boogemans, son-in-law Bill Wasnidge, sisters Dorothy Mitchell, Kathleen Dietrich and brothers Earl, Ken, Ed, Tommy and Norman Breen. Resting at T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood with visitation Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Parish and family prayers at the Funeral Home Monday at 3:30 pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Roman Catholic Church, Mount Carmel, Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at 1 p.m. The Rev. Fr. Len Desjardins celebrant. Interment in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations (payable by cheque) to the South Huron Hospital Foundation or charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
