Obituary of Dr. Richard Ray Shivers

SHIVERS: Peacefully, at South Huron Hospital, Exeter, on Thursday, February 05, 2015, Dr. Richard “Dick” Ray Shivers PhD, of Grand Bend formerly of London, age 74. Beloved husband of Sarah “Sally” Anne (Cook) Siegner. Loved father and father-in-law of Shaun (Kathy) Shivers of St. Thomas, Stephanie (Bryan) Clubb of Verona, WI, Charlie Siegner (Angela Munroe) of St. Thomas. Cherished grandpa of Nicole, Kristine and Jacob Siegner, Colin Munroe-Wright, Elliott, Aidan and Charlotte Clubb, Lindsey and Robert Shivers. Dear brother of Barbara Stahl and Gary Shivers. Predeceased by his parents Raymond and Blanche (Pyle) Shivers, granddaughter Danielle Shivers and brother-in-law Thomas Stahl. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Sunday, June 7, 2015 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Grand Bend Legion, Brand 498. Arrangements entrusted to the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood If desired, memorial donations (payable by cheque) to the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
