Obituary of HARVEY ERVIN RATZ

RATZ: Peacefully, at South Huron Hospital, Exeter, on Saturday evening, August 8, 2015, with the love of his family surrounding him, Harvey Ervin Ratz of RR 2, Dashwood, age 80. Beloved husband of Barbara Westman, loved father of Susan Ratz and Marc Mueller of London and loving grandpa of Ashley and Lauren Mueller. Dear brother of Margaret and Earl Smith of London and Donald Ratz of Exeter Villa, fondly remembered by his niece and nephews. Harvey will be dearly missed by the Westman family. Predeceased by his parents Roy and Clara (Haist) Ratz. Resting at T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, with visitation on Tuesday from 4 to 8 pm and where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at 10 am. Mr. Bob Heywood officiating. Interment Crediton Cemetery. Harvey operated Harvey Ratz Ltd., Farm Supply in Shipka for many years. He served as a Councillor and Reeve on the former Township of Stephen, Huron County Council and former Councillor for Stephen Ward for Municipality of South Huron.
