WALDRON: Peacefully at Country Manor Retirement Home, Thedford, on Thursday, December 28, 2000, Thelma N. (Hockey) Waldron, formerly of Grand Bend, in her 80th year. Beloved wife of the late John “Jack” W. Waldron (1984). Loving mother and mother-in-law of Gail and Jeff Dietrich of St. Thomas, Cathy and Gary Hugill of Exeter. Loving grandma of Christopher Dietrich and friend Lori O’Brien of Port Stanley. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Wayne Hockey of Brussels, Mary Hockey of Exeter, Thelma Waldron and Den Waldron, both of Grand Bend and Mary Waldron of England. Loved by her nieces, nephews and their familites. Predeceased by her brother Harold Hockey, parents Norman and Mabel (Bishop) Hockey and brother-in-law Mervyn Waldron.. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, with visitation Friday 2-4 amd 7-9 P.M.; where the Funeral and Committal Service will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2000 at 11A.M. Chaplain Paul Knauer officiating. Interment Exeter Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society or charity of choice would be appreciated. Thelma and Jack were former owners of Grand Bend Cleaners and Launderers.
