Obituary of Nola Lillian Faist

FAIST: Peacefully at Exeter Villa Nursing Home, on Sunday, April 8, 2001, Nola Lillian Faist, formerly of Crediton, in her 96th year. Daughter of the late G. Ezra and Elizabeth A. (Wuerth) Faist. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Pauline and Don Robertson of Victoria, B.C. and Gwen Faist of Cambridge. Remembered by her nieces and nephews Barbara and Ron Zophy of Streetsboro, Ohio, Marion and Dennis Jutzi of Troy, Ont., Charles and Dianne Faist of Burlington, Cathy and Jesse Maltby of Edson, Alberta and their families. Predeceased by her brother Rev. Fred Faist (1982). Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, with visitation Wednesday evening 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at Zion United Church, Crediton, on Thursday, April 12, 2001 at 1 p.m. The Rev. Leanne Rodgers and Mr. Charles Faist officiating. Interment Crediton Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to Zion United Church, Exeter Villa or charity of choice would be appreciated. Nola was employed at the Flying Training School, R.C.A.F. Station, Centralia for 17 years, then for the Township of Stephen Municipal office for 13 years. She was active in the U.C.W. and choir of Zion United Church and served as treasurer of the Crediton Cemetery Board for 26 years.
