Obituary of Charles Thomas

THOMAS: Suddenly at South Huron Hospital, Exeter, on Tuesday, April 24, 2001, Charles “Bruce” Thomas of Riverview Estates, Exeter, formerly of West Hill, Ont. in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Margaret E. (Clarke) Thomas. Dear brother of Reid Thomas of Pickering and Cecil Thomas of Halifax, N.S. He will be missed by his nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by his brothers Reesor and Keith Thomas and sister Eileen Gaynor. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood (519-237-3532), with visitation Friday 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.; where the Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2001 at 2 p.m. Mrs. Irene Richardson officiating. Cremation with interment Exeter Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, South Huron Hospital or charity of choice would be appreciated. Bruce was retired from the Toronto Peterborough Transport after 36 years. He and Margaret would have celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary in June of this year.
