NOBLE: Peacefully at South Huron Hospital, Exeter, on Thursday, May 3, 2001, Haydn Manly Noble of Grand Bend, formerly of Toronto, in his 81st year. Beloved husband of the late Grace I. (Patton) (Young) Noble (1994). Loved step-father of Jean Young of Chatham and the late Gord Young. Loving grandpa of Gwen Mokry and her husband Dennis, Janice Young and her husband Ron Ogata, Diane Young and her husband Robert Pecile, Melissa Carnell, Kendal Ann Carnell Laux and her husband Erik Laux. Great-grandpa of Stephanie, Sabrina, Zach, Sarah, Max and Annie. Father of often thought of son Rick of Toronto. Special brother-in-law of Marion J. Patton, Daisy Roberts and Alice Patton. Predeceased by his sister Joan Dunn, brother Floyd Noble, parents John and Mabel (Leaushner) Noble. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, (519-237-3532) with visitation Saturday 2 to 5 p.m. only; where the Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, May 6, 2001 at 2 p.m. Pirie Mitchell officiating. Cremation with interment Exeter Cemetery. Royal Canadian Legion, Grand Bend Branch No. 498 will hold a service at the Funeral Home Saturday at 4:30 p.m. If desired, memorial donations to South Huron Hospital, Grand Bend Legion or charity of choice would be appreciated. Haydn served with the Canadian Army, 4th Division, Argyle Southern Highlanders during WWII.
