Obituary of Edgar Wesley Scott

SCOTT: Suddenly at Stratford General Hospital, on Friday, July 5, 2002, Edgar Wesley “Ed” Scott of Pineview Mobile Home Park, R. R. #2, Grand Bend, formerly of Hyde Park, in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Jean (Bricker) Scott and the late Eileen (Kennedy) Scott (1981). Loved father of Doug and Janice Scott of London, Donna and David Hawley of R. R. #2, Grand Bend and step-father of Wynne and Doreen Elmore of Peterborough, Michael and Pauline Elmore of Bon Accord, Alberta, David and Rose Elmore of St. Thomas, Douglas and Leona Elmore of Brantford and the late Deborah Cartier (1994). Loving grandpa of Timothy and Stephanie Scott, Sarah Scott, Matthew Scott, Scott Jones and Shannon Jones and great grandpa of Alexis, Dylan and Adam. Also remembered by his extended grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Viola Higgs of Ilderton. Predeceased by his brother Byron Scott (1994). Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, with visitation Monday 2 - 4 p.m. and 7- 9 p.m. Royal Canadian Legion, Grand Bend, Branch No. 498 will hold a service at the funeral home, Monday at 6:45 p.m. and where the Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, July 09, 2002 at 11 a.m. The Rev. Grant Darling officiating. Interment Littlewood Cemetery, Ilderton. If desired, memorial donations to the Cancer Society or charity of choice would be appreciated. Ed served with the South Sask. Infantry 2nd Div. during WWII.
