Obituary of Reginald Leroy Stewart

STEWART: Peacefully, at Exeter Villa Nursing Home, on Tuesday, October 8, 2002, Reginald Leroy “Reg” Stewart of Grand Bend, formerly of Sarnia and Woodstock, in his 78th year. Beloved husband of Margaret (Allen) Stewart of Grand Cove Estates, Grand Bend. Loved father and father-in-law of Barbara and David Hanley of Brights Grove and Bruce Stewart of Sarnia. Loving grandpa of Katie, Jordan and Jonathan Hanley. Dear brother of Dorothy Greenly of Oxford Centre, Loreen McLeod of Mississauga and brother-in-law of Betty Stewart of London and Dorothy Stewart of Chatham. Remembered by his many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by his brothers Stanley and Daniel Stewart. Cremation. Visitation at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, on Thursday evening from 6-9 p.m.; where a Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 11, 2002 at 11 a.m. The Rev. Harry Disher officiating. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Sarnia. If desired, memorial donations to the Exeter Villa or Town and Country Support Services would be appreciated. Reg was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, served in the Army with the Lincoln and Welland 4th Division in Holland and Germany during WWII and a longtime member of the Teamsters No. 880 retiring from Overland Express in 1986.
