Obituary of Hildagarde Josephine Boland

BOLAND: Peacefully, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, London, Saturday, April 19, 2003, Hildagarde “Hilda” Josephine (Dietrich) Boland of Craigwiel Gardens, Ailsa Craig, formerly of Lucan and Mount Carmel, in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Clement “Clem” Isadore Boland (1999). Loved mother of Joseph “Joe” Boland of R. R. #3, Ailsa Craig and Geraldine “Gerri” Boland of Chilliwack, B.C. Loving grandma of James “Jim” Boland of R.R. #3, Ailsa Craig and Michelle Boland of London. Predeceased by her sisters Gertrude “Sister St. Paul” Dietrich, Alice Fallon, Elizabeth Conlin, brothers Joe Dietrich and Anthony Dietrich, parents Theobald and Matilda (Druar) Dietrich. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, with visitation Tuesday 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Prayers at the Funeral Home Tuesday at 7 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church, Mount Carmel on Wednesday, April 23, 2003, at 11 a.m. The Rev. Father Paul Baillargeon Celebrant. Interment Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to a charity of choice would be appreciated. Hilda served during WWII with the Royal Canadian Army Medical Corps in Africa and England.
