Obituary of Robert Sydney Williams

WILLIAMS: Suddenly, at South Huron Hospital, Exeter, on Sunday, July 13, 2003, Robert Sydney "Bob" Williams, of Grand Cove Estates, Grand Bend, formerly of Dorval, Quebec, in his 85th year. Beloved husband of the late Effie "Faye" (Bially) Williams (March 15, 2003). Loved father of Robert "Rob" and Cindy Williams and loving grandpa of Nicholas and Stacie Williams and Matthew Williams, all of Brockville and great-grandpa of Logan Williams. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Vera and Archie Morrison of Grand Bend, Joan Collins and Pauline Williams, both of Montreal, Joan Williams of Calgary, Jack Dingle of Vancouver, Olga Frederick of Hinton, Alberta, Jack and Helen Bially and Eva Bially all of Tolstoi, Manitoba. Also remembered by many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by brothers Bertram and Sydney Williams and sister Edna Dingle. Cremation. A Memorial Service will be held at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, on Saturday, July 19, 2003 at 11 a.m. The Rev. Harry Disher officiating. Interment Overstoneville Independent Cemetery, Tolstoi, Manitoba. Bob served in WWII with the Canadian Army Service Corps. If desired, memorial donations to the Cancer Society or charity of choice would be appreciated.
