ROESZLER: A resident of Chatham and formerly of London and Crediton, died at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Public General Campus on Sunday, August 3, 2003 at the age of 75. Born in Huron County, son of the late William and Beatrice (England) Roeszler. Beloved husband of the late A. Doreen (Page) Roeszler (1996).Dear father of Geoff Roeszler and his wife Laurie and Brenda Davidson and her husband Kim. Loving grandfather of Colin, Tyler and Devon Roeszler, Kelly and Craig Davidson. Brother of Betty and Cecil Glanville, Ruth and Don Haines, and the late Eileen “Tip”(1991), Carman “Porky”(1989), Don “Donnelly” (1995), and Lloyd “Squeek” Roeszler(1999). Brother-in-law of Audrey and Stan Ashworth, Russ and Verna Page, Allan “Charlie” and Debbie Page, Brad and Cathy Page of Lake Orion, Michigan and the late Eleanor Roeszler (1993). Grant had a lifelong interest in hockey and lacrosse, and was his grandchildren’s greatest fan, watching them play hockey, soccer, skipping, and baseball. He was retired from Petro Canada, and attended Gregory Drive Alliance Church. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Wednesday 2:00-4:30 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. On Thursday, August 7, 2003, family will receive friends at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood from 12:00-1:30 p.m. Funeral Service to follow at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Robert Beasley of Gregory Drive Alliance Church officiating.Interment Crediton Cemetery.If desired, memorial donations to the London Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated.
