Obituary of Carol A. Turnbull

TURNBULL: Peacefully, at South Huron Hospital, Exeter, on Tuesday, August 12, 2003, Carol A. (Fuhr) Turnbull, in her 80th year, and on Thursday, August 14, 2003, Alan F. Turnbull, in his 79th year, both recently of Country Manor Retirement Home, Thedford, formerly of Grand Bend. Loved parents of Tim and Joanne Turnbull of R. R. #1, Grand Bend. Loving grandparents of Matthew Turnbull and companion Brenda Artico, Bradley Turnbull and companion Renee Bastien, all of Windsor. Carol will be missed by her sister Verta Brenner of Grand Bend. Also remembered by Carol’s aunt Lottie Dunnenan of Stratford. Predeceased by her brothers Melvin, Earl, Ray and Harold Fuhr. Alan will be missed by his sisters Mary and Timothy Kember of Picton, Esther and Peter Warner of R. R. #2, Grand Bend, brothers Eric and Betty Turnbull of Grand Bend, Carl and Lois Turnbull of R. R. #2, Dashwood, Ross and Nancy Turnbull of Spring Hill, Florida, Paul and Marg Turnbull of R. R. #1, Grand Bend, Alec and Marlene Turnbull of R. R. #2, Grand Bend. Also remembered by Alan’s aunt, Jean Johnson of Thedford. They will both be missed by many nieces, nephews and their families. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, with visitation Friday 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.; where a Funeral Service for Carol and Alan will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2003 at 11 a.m. Pastor Kevin Rutledge of Exeter officiating, assisted by Rick Hoornweg of Forest. If desired, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Alzheimer Society or charity of choice would be appreciated.
