HOGAN: Peacefully, at Exeter Villa Retirement Home, Saturday, October 4, 2003, Philomene Alma (Desjardine) Hogan, formerly of R. R. #8, Parkhill (Mount Carmel), in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Wilfred John Hogan (1983). Loved mother and mother-in-law of Jack and Mary Hogan of R. R. #3, Dashwood, Nell McCann of Mount Carmel, Cecilia and Ed Mittelholtz of Exeter, Joe and Ruth Hogan of Exeter, Rita and Jerry Hartman of London, Marg and Bill Inson of Exeter. Loving grandma of 26 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Dear sister-in-law of Sister Cecilia (Margaret) Hogan of The Pines, Chatham. Loved by many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by her parents Abraham and Mary (Geromette) Desjardine, brothers Hubert and Joseph Desjardine, sisters Emma Rowland and Madeline Hartman and son-in-law Jack McCann. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, with visitation Monday 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Parish prayers at the Funeral Home, Monday at 6:45 p.m. followed by C.W.L. prayers. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church, Mount Carmel, Tuesday, October 7, 2003 at 1:30 p.m. The Rev. Father Callistus St. Louis Celebrant. Interment Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church Restoration Fund, South Huron Medical Centre or charity of choice would be appreciated.
