MARTENS: Peacefully, at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital, Saturday, October 11, 2003, Martha (Welten) Martens of Crediton, in her 73rd year. Beloved wife of Tony Martens. Loved mother of Marty Martens of R. R. 2, Gadshill, Marian and Dennis Pfaff of R. R. #2, Crediton, Franky and Nicole Martens of Lavington, BC. and the late Henny Martens (1978). Loving Oma of Adam, Jessica and Jarod Martens, Lacretia, Henny, Curtis and Janita Pfaff, Samantha and Seth Martens. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Hanneke and Wim v/d Heyden, Hein Kuipers, Sien and Thieu Geers, Pete and Miet Welten, Frans and Pleun Welten, Mien and Jochim Kuunders all of Holland. Predeceased by sisters Drika Kuipers and Dien v/d Ven and brother-in-law Karel v/d Ven. Loved sister-in-law of Marinus Martens and Zuster Evarista (Johanna) Martens both of Holland, Martin and Lil Martens of R.R. 1, Dashwood, Sien and Tom Smits of R.R. 2, Grand Bend, Marius and Ria Martens of Grand Bend, Arnold and Anne Martens of R.R. #2, Crediton. Predeceased by Johan and Miet Martens, Truus Martens, Wim Martens and Jan Martens, Leny Martens, Marietje and Jan Guns. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and their families. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, with visitation Tuesday, 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. C.W.L. prayers at the Funeral Home, Tuesday at 2 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church, Mount Carmel, Wednesday, October 15, 2003, at 11 a.m. The Rev. Father Callistus St. Louis celebrant. Interment Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to Cancer Society or charity of choice would be appreciated.
