Obituary of Albertus Severus Wydooghe
WYDOOGHE: Peacefully, at South Huron Hospital, Exeter, Sunday, November 30, 2003, Albertus Severus “Albert” Wydooghe, of Exeter Villa Nursing Home, formerly of Mount Carmel, in his 89th year. Beloved husband of Ghislaine Madeleine (Lamote) Wydooghe, of Exeter. Loved uncle of Rosa and her husband Ray Baljko and their children of R. R. #4, Denfield and other nieces, nephews and their families in Belgium. Predeceased by daughter (1951), sisters Zulma Buyck, Irma Gheysens, Paula Defauw and brother Oscar Wydooghe, parents Henri and Marie (Meerseman) Wydooghe. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, with visitation Tuesday afternoon and evening. Prayers at the Funeral Home, Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church, Mount Carmel, Wednesday, December 3, 2003 at 11 a.m. The Rev. Father Callistus St. Louis Celebrant. Interment Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to the Parkinson Foundation or charity of choice would be appreciated. Albert served in the Belgium Army, was taken Prisoner of War in Austria during WWII, came to Canada in 1949 and farmed in the Mount Carmel area for over 50 years.
