GUENTHER: Peacefully, at Exeter Villa Nursing Home, Friday, April 16, 2004, Ross Claire Guenther, formerly of Dashwood, age 81. Beloved husband of Pauline Helen (Eagleson) Guenther of Grand Bend. Loved father and father-in-law of Joan and Jim Scott of R. R. #3, Ailsa Craig, Eugene and Jean Guenther of R. R. #3, Dashwood. Loving papa of Mike and Kim Scott, Rob and Holly Scott, Jason Scott, Lori Guenther and companion Travis Haines, Steven Guenther and friend Sarah Damsa; great-grandpa of Jeff and Julie Scott. Predeceased by grandson Paul Scott (1986). Dear brother and brother-in-law of Ruth Walper of Cambridge, Shirley Kipfer of Dashwood, Vera Guenther and Jean Anne Guenther, both of Exeter, Bill and Helen Eagleson of Florida and Janet Eagleson of Exeter. Loved by his many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by his parents Earl R. (1989) and Clarice (Hooper) (1964) Guenther, step-mother Joy C. (Leslie) (1994) Guenther, brothers Lloyd (1995) and Ray Guenther (1965), brothers-in-law Glenn Walper, Elgin Kipfer, Ray and Bruce Eagleson and sister-in-law Beatrice Eagleson. A Memorial Funeral Service will be held at Calvary United Church, Dashwood, Sunday April 18, 2004 at 2 p.m. The Rev. Alex McGilvery officiating. Interment of ashes Calvary United Church Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society, Calvary United Church, Exeter Villa or charity of choice would be appreciated. Ross served during WWII with the Elgin Regiment in France, Belgium, Holland and Germany. He was a transport driver, bus driver and later years a driver-instructor. T.
