Obituary of Norma Patricia Joan Carleton
CARLETON: Peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family, after a valiant struggle against the complications resulting from heart surgery, at L.H.S.C. South Street Campus, Monday, June 21, 2004, Norma Patricia Joan “Pat” (Burley) Carleton, of Grand Cove Estates, Grand Bend, formerly of Pointe Claire, Quebec. Beloved wife of Frederick William “Bill” Carleton. Much loved mother and mother-in-law to Steven and Lorraine Carleton, Heather and Paul Lareau, Kathy and Henryk Puklicz, Tom Anderson and the late Debbie (Carleton) Anderson (1999). Will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Matthew Lareau, Shannon Lareau, Andrew Carleton, Garrett Carleton, Kaitlyn Puklicz, Kevin Puklicz, Jennifer Anderson and Mitchell Anderson, her special nieces, Colleen Ritchie, Doreen Wortham, brothers-in-law Harry Wexler, Brian Carleton and her dear lifelong friends Shirley Ross and Eleanor Quinn. Predeceased by her parents, Margaret and Percival Burley, brother Michael Burley and sister Peggy Wexler. A private family service will be held at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood (519-237-3532), Sunday, June 27, 2004, The Rev. Harry Disher officiating, followed by a Celebration of Life Reception for family and friends at the Grand Cove Estates Clubhouse, Grand Bend, at 3 p.m. If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
