O’ROURKE: Peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family, at Blue Water Rest Home, Zurich, Wednesday, May 20, 2009, Clare Eileen (Dietrich) O’Rourke, formerly of Exeter and Khiva, age 90. Beloved wife of the late Dennis Patrick O’Rourke (1966). Loved mother and mother-in-law of Mike O’Rourke and Louise of Spirit River, Alberta, Don and Julia O’Rourke of RR 3, Dashwood, Wayne and Barb O’Rourke of RR 4, Walkerton, Glenn O’Rourke of RR 5, Mount Forest, Pat and Gwen O’Rourke of RR 3, Dashwood (Khiva), Joe and Betty O’Rourke of Atwood, Gerard and Sandy O’Rourke of New Dundee, Mary and Jim MacGregor of Exeter. Loving grandma of Mike (Alma), Shawn, Sean (Kerry), Lee, Justin (Liz), Steve (Wendy), Carolyn (Brad), Kevin (Leeanne), Erin (Randy), Keriann (Kelso), Meghan, Katelyn, Connor, Charlsey, Kelsey, Kerri, Shane and Kayley. Great-grandma of Jessica, Kelsey, Taylor, Shay, Cally, Shaelyn, Evan, Sarah, Cameron, Kirby, Keenan, Jeremy, Alicia, Jacob, Colin, Aaron and Claire. Dear sister-in-law of Mary Dietrich of Mount Carmel and Yvonne Dietrich of St. Marys. Remembered by her many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by her sisters, Sidonia McKeever, Merle Gelinas, brothers Bill, Jerome, Charlie, Earl and Leonard Dietrich, daughter-in-law Phyllis and granddaughter-in-law Angelina. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, with visitation Monday 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Parish and C.W.L. Prayers at the Funeral Home, Monday at 6:45 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church, Mount Carmel, Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. The Rev. Father Ray Lawhead Celebrant. Interment Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church Restoration Fund or charity of choice would be appreciated. Clare will be long remembered for her love of family and friends, feeding visitors and her sense of humour.
