Obituary of PAUL JAMES CAREY

CAREY:  Unexpectedly, at London Health Sciences Centre - Victoria Hospital, London, on Sunday, October 21, 2018, Paul James Carey of Mount Carmel, age 76.  Dear brother and brother-in-law of Margaret Girard of Windsor, Donald and Margaret Carey of Mount Carmel, Patrick and Mary-ann Carey of Grand Bend and Geraldine Carey of Windsor.  Cherished uncle of Tracey Girard, Catherine (Rod) Bustamante, Steven Micallef, Philip (Jessica) Carey, Maureen (Michael) Barclay, Janet Carey, Michael Moore, Caroline (Jeff) Van Lith, Julie Moore and Lydia Moore and great-uncle of Darnell Girard, Victoria and Andrew Bustamante, Laura  and Caitlin Barclay, Lochlan  and Reese Van Lith.  Predeceased by his parents Hubert James (1983) and Laura Rosalie (Masse) Carey (2017), sisters Rosalie Carey (1970), Theresa Carey (2003), Irene and Charles Micallef (both in 2014) and nephew Brian Girard (2018).  Paul was a long time employee of Robert Bice Construction Company of London.   Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, on Sunday, October 28, 2018 from 2 to 5 p.m. with parish and family prayers being offered at 4:30 p.m.  The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church, Mount Carmel on Monday, October 29, 2018 at 11:00 a.m.  The Rev. Fr. Len Desjardins Celebrant.  Interment Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Cemetery, Mount Carmel. If desired, memorial donations, (payable by cheque) to London Health Sciences Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
