Obituary of Jean Goff

GOFF:  Peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family, at Exeter Villa Nursing Home, on Monday, August 5, 2019, Sarah Blanche Jean (McAllister) Goff of Exeter, age 85.  Beloved wife of the late Glenn Burton Goff (April, 15, 2019).  Loved mother and mother-in-law of Rob Goff and his wife Cheryl Leonhardt and the late Brenda Goff (1979).  Cherished grandmother of Jamie and Christian Goff.  Dear sister and sister-in-law of Ian and Shirley McAllister.  Remembered by her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by her parents James A. and Rosie E. (Broadfoot) McAllister, step-mother Jessie (Johnston) McAllister and in laws Claud and Geraldine (Wilson) Goff.  Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, on Tuesday, August 13, 2019 with visitation commencing 12:00 p.m., followed by the Celebration of Life Service at 1:30 p.m., Rev. Elise Feltrin Officiant. A Reception will follow the Service at the Dashwood Community Centre. Private Family Interment following at Baird’s Cemetery, Brucefield.  Jean was a teacher in both Huron County and in Sarnia.  If desired, memorial donations (payable by cheque) to the Cancer Society, Alzheimer’s Society, Make A Wish Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
