I will always remember growing up on Alice St in Oshawa and paling around with Louie, Greg Fehrenbach and Eddie Donald. Playing basketball in the driveway and being introduced by Louie to George "Hound dog" Lorenz on a Buffalo radio station that played "black" R&B and rock. Then there was air cadets. I only saw Louie a few times in the many years that have gone by, but we always enjoyed talking about the "old days".
My condolances to his wife and family - and a shout out to his sister Claudie who I know will greatly miss him.
Rest in peace my childhood friend,
Bob Brockman

Sharon, Michele and Lea,
I am so sorry to hear thar Lou has passed. I am Sharon’s cousin. I have many fond memories of Lou and Sharon as we lived across the street on Clarke Street when they started dating. As a kid, I know I interfered in a lot of their alone time, but they never told me to get lost. I remember their wedding. It was beautiful. I especially remember Lou wearing 1 green sock and 1 red sock every Christmas. They were a real life love story. Unfortunately, after their move to Ottawa we didn’t see as much of them, but even when I grew up and married, my husband, Ken and I enjoyed their visits to Aunt Margies.
Sending loving thoughts and hugs to all of you.
