Obituary of Theresa Louise Kester

KESTER:  Peacefully, after a long and courageous 35 year battle with leukemia, at London Health Sciences Centre - Victoria Hospital, London, on Monday, February 20, 2023,Theresa Louise (Soudant) Kester, of Dashwood, age 60.  Beloved wife of Tony Kester.  Loved mother and mother-in-law of Alicia Kester and Lloyde Jones, Jeremy Kester and Jessica Crawford, David and Lori Kester, Adrienne Kester and Steve Taylor.  Cherished Oma of Jessica, Taylor and McKenzie Jones, Connor, Natalie, Alexander and Adrian Kester, Sophia, Heath and Reese Kester and Isabella Taylor.  Treasured Great-Oma of Kaydence Jones.  Forever loved daughter of Gus and Bella (Geilen) Soudant.  Dear sister and sister-in-law of Rick and Harriet Soudant, Kathleen and Ed Roulston, Rob and Lisa Soudant, Heidi and Dennis Harsen, Tilly and Robert Anderson, Arnold and Karen Kester, the late Jenny (2015) and Dennis Fleischauer, Joe Kester, John Kester and Lori Davis, Dorothy Kester, Andy Kester and Valerie Anderson, Leo Kester, Tom Kester and Christine Vieceli, Gerald Kester and Jim Kester as well as many nieces, nephews and their families.  Fondly remembered by her in-laws the late Adrian (2005) and Mary (Groenewegen) Kester, Theresa and Tony have many aunts, uncles and cousins in Canada and Holland.  Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, on Friday, February 24, 2023 from 4 to 8 p.m., with Parish, Family and CWL Prayers at 3:30 p.m.   The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church, Mount Carmel on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at 11 a.m.  The Rev. Fr. Vince Gulikers Celebrant.  Interment Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Cemetery.  Theresa was a dedicated employee (27 years) at Rona in Exeter and a long time member of the Catholic Women’s League at St. Boniface R.C.C, Zurich.  If desired, memorial donations (payable directly) to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
