FISCHER:  Peacefully, with the love of his life by his side, at South Huron Hospital, Exeter, on Monday, May 29, 2023, Wolfgang “Bruce” Heinrich Fischer, of Grand Bend, age 88.  Beloved husband of 62.5 years to Regina “Gina” (Wirtz) Fischer.  Loved father and father-in-law of Stuart Fischer and Leslie Jeffs of High River, AB., Douglas and Christine Fischer of London.  Cherished grandpa of Amie Fischer (Mike White), Tracy Fischer (Cole Lanes), John Fischer, Tomas Fischer and Michael Fischer.  Treasured great-grandpa of Michael, Athlon, Astrea and Colton.  Dear brother of Maria Schultz of Germany.  Predeceased by his parents Albert and Kathe (Dobbertin) Fischer and infant son Phillip Fischer (1963).  Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, with Visitation on Thursday, June 1, 2023 from 1 to 2 p.m.  followed by the Funeral Service at 2:00 p.m.  The Rev. Fr. Tony Laforet Officiant.  Interment Pinery Cemetery, Grand Bend.  Bruce loved decorating, gardening and his sweets.  He owned and operated Madame Hair Fashion in London for 19 years and then worked in Real Estate when he was living in Grand Bend.  If desired, memorial donations (payable directly) to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
